About T-RIZE Labs
T-RIZE has partnered with the engineering university École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS) to establish one of the world’s first industrial research chairs focused 100% on Tokenization and Decentralized Machine Learning. Led by Professor Kaiwen Zhang, this initiative aims to innovate blockchain applications by advancing tokenization processes and developing sustainable blockchain and decentralized machine learning solutions. Currently, a team of 7 PhDs and postdocs are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of these technologies.
About Professor Kaiwen Zhang
Professor Kaiwen Zhang is a Software and IT Engineering specialist at ÉTS. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at TU Munich under the Alexander von Humboldt program. His research spans blockchain technologies, federated learning, and distributed systems, with contributions to major conferences such as IEEE ICDCS and ACM Middleware that have set industry standards.
